Yours sincerely – Mrs Pinocchio
A G E N D A
1. Apologies. 2. Declaration of Interest:
Reminder to members. (A Personal Interest is also a prejudicial interest because (under the objective, public perception test in Paragraph 12 (1) of the Members’ Code of Conduct) it would be regarded as so significant that it is likely to prejudice my judgement of the public interest.) (See code of conduct.) (Forms available from the Clerk Mrs Pinocchio)
3. Minutes
a) To confirm the minutes we invented for the last meeting.
b) To confirm the minutes we invented up for the Meeting held last time we held one.
c) To confirm the minutes we Invented up for any other meeting we may have forgotten about.
4. Clerk’s Report – Nothing of interest as usual – just seemingly endless waffle that no one understands. Nodding required.
5. Chair’s Report – Even less interesting as always – more waffle just delivered in a more lofty manner
6. Public Speaking – Allowed but not encouraged
7. Correspondence – Largely ignored but read out
8. Planning Applications – We have absolutely no jurisdiction and no training but none the less we will spend ages discussing it all as though we did. We know nothing but that wont stop us talking about it forever.
9. Applications for Financial Assistance – Please don’t ask we spend most of the money on wages and waste the rest on daft schemes
10. Finances – A wad of very complicated figures will be presented and you must all pretend you know what it is all about and look knowledgable and interested and when you are told to vote in favour just put up your hand so it looks unanimous as always such as;
a) To approve the payments for January, 2026 – Make sure you do or else
b) Income/Expenditure to 31.01.26 – You will be swiftly talked through it all – don’t interrupt
11. Painting the front door – Update
11a. Sanding down the front door – Update
11b. Undercoating the front door – Update
11c. Front door colour – Update
11d. Engineers report on front door – Update

11f. Front door costings estimates circa £14,750
12. Members Information & Reports (no proposals or resolutions to be made so do not even try
13. Resolution – Confidential Matters – “to resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 as there would be disclosure to them of confidential information relating to contractual, legal and personnel content. This is where we get to discuss real things that matter and the rest of you get the door slammed in your faces. We love this bit.
Meetings are open to the general public with the exception of Confidential Matters so if you want to hear all the rubbish come along and we will chuck you out when the interesting stuff kicks in.
14. Confidential Matters (Contractual, Legal, Personnel Related, or anything else we fancy including and don’t want you to know about)
a) Paint the front door tender – someone we know well will do it – do not argue with the Clerk. Tenders sent to two people we know
b) Legal Matters – Stuff we are too incompetent to handle so will waste public money paying lawyers to do it for us.
c) Cold weather discussion – Is the weather too cold for residents
D) Dog walking – Are local people walking their dogs too often. How large is the average dog poo. Should dogs wear coats made of wool.
14. Close Meeting.
